In addition to teaching, performing, and managing the R&D lesson studios, Tiffany offers a variety of therapeutic energy healing sessions, using reiki, indigenous practices, and overtone emitting instruments (singing bowls, tuning forks, gong, mono-chord, bells, chimes) to achieve meditative states, restore the nervous system, and promote overall well-being. In 2019, she began training as a Shamanic Reiki practitioner at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY and in 2021, Tiffany received her certification as a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher. In 2016, Tiffany received her certification as an Integrative Sound Therapy Practitioner from the Sound and Music Institute at the NY Open Center in NYC. Tiffany is a member of AFM Local 506 in Saratoga, NY. Some of her students have become music majors or minors at schools like SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Purchase, Crane School of Music, University of Conn, Western Conn State University, and Julliard Pre-College.
Tiffany has been teaching oboe and English horn for over 25 years to students ages 9 and up, including preparation for NYSSMA, All-State and college auditions. Tiffany has also been music director/assistant MD, and/or conductor for a number of musical theater productions: Little Shop of Horrors, Violet, Falsettoland, Kiss of the Spiderwoman (1999-2001 Boston/Salem, MA area), A New Brain (2007 Bronx, NY), Lil' Abner, 110 in the Shade, A Christmas Carol,and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2001-2005 Putnam County, NY). Some well known venues she has had the pleasure of playing at include: Caramoor, Alice Tully Hall, Madison Sq. She has performed with a variety of ensembles, such as The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra, Chappaqua Orchestra, Westchester Symphonic Winds, as well as in pit orchestras for dozens of musical theater productions. Tiffany is an active freelancer, performing oboe and/or English horn throughout the lower Hudson Valley, and the capital region. Other oboe instructors included Laura Ahlbeck, and Kyoko Hida. At BoCo, her primary oboe professor was renowned reed-maker, and retired Boston Symphony Orchestra principal oboist, Dr. Tiffany then attended The Boston Conservatory (now joined with Berklee), where she received a Bachelor’s degree in music with double majors in Oboe Performance and Music Education. During high school, Tiffany attended the Pre-College Division at Manhattan School of Music, where she studied oboe and English horn with Phyllis Lanini, and took classes in music theory, ear training, and performed in large and small emsembles. Tiffany Radovich (Oboe, English horn) began studying the oboe at age 9 with Arthur Chankin, a family friend and music professor at Baruch College.
